Report on the 11th General Assembly of JCMA (for FY2025)

On June 11, 2026, the Japan Convention Management Association (JCMA) held its 11th General Assembly for fiscal year 2025 at Port Hall in Tokyo Port City Takeshiba. The event returned to Tokyo for the first time in two years, following the previous assembly in Osaka. More than 300 people attended, including the networking reception, making the event a great success.

Part I: General Assembly

Led by Representative Director Noriko Takeuchi, the assembly concluded successfully. After the assembly, we introduced the new members who had joined since the previous General Assembly.

Part II: Special Lecture
In the second part of the event, we were honored to welcome Mr. Manabu Inoue, Deputy Secretary-General of the GREEN×EXPO Association (Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama). Mr. Inoue delivered a valuable lecture on “GREEN×EXPO 2027,” sharing an overview of the expo and the current status of preparations.

Sustainable Co-creation Business Meet-up 2026 Held Simultaneously
The “Sustainable Co-creation Business Meet-up 2026,” organized by the SDGs Committee, was held in the foyer alongside the assembly. The venue became a dynamic space for business discussions aimed at building new partnerships, with active networking and lively exchanges among member companies.

Part III: Networking Reception
Even before the reception began, the venue was filled with excitement, and the lively atmosphere continued as attendees networked and exchanged ideas.

After celebrating our 10th anniversary last year, we are now moving into a new phase. Together with our members, we will continue to rethink MICE and shape the future of JCMA’s activities.

We sincerely thank you for your continued understanding and support of our activities.
