Report on the 10th General Assembly of JCMA (for FY2024)
JCMA 10th Anniversary: Challenge for the Future
On June 9, 2025, the Japan Convention Management Association (JCMA) held its 10th General Assembly for Fiscal Year 2024 at the Osaka International Convention Center.
While JCMA’s General Assemblies have traditionally been held in Tokyo, thanks to the support of our members and many stakeholders, and in celebration of JCMA’s 10th anniversary on April 1 this year—coinciding with the period of the Osaka-Kansai Expo—we held the assembly in Osaka for the first time outside the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Including the networking reception held after the assembly, over 300 participants attended, making the event a great success.
Part I: General Assembly
The first part of the event was the official General Assembly.
Under the direction of Representative Director Hirotake Chikanami, the assembly was successfully completed, including the FY2024 business and financial reports, amendments to the Articles of Incorporation, election of directors, and the FY2025 business and financial plans.
