JCMA held a co-hosted program at the 6th YOKOHAMA Global MICE Forum

The 6th YOKOHAMA Global MICE Forum, hosted by JCMA member, PACIFICO Yokohama (co-hosted by the City of Yokohama and supported by JCMA and others), was held at the PACIFICO Yokohama’s Conference Center on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The event welcomed 105 participants, including 83 JCMA members.

JCMA held a co-hosted program, Session 2: “Attractive Destinations & Workplaces with Technology,” with Ms. Miki Nishida, Board member and Vice Chair of the Diversity Committee of JCMA (President & CEO, PCO Co.,Ltd., pictured left), moderating the session.

The session featured two speakers:

・Mr. Ashwin Gunasekeran (pictured center)
　CEO, Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau
　The former Chair, International Congress and Convention Association [ICCA] Asia Pacific Chapter

・Mr. Jayone Lyu (pictured right)
　Executive Vice President for business, KINTEX (*)
　*KINTEX is one of Korea’s leading MICE facilities.

During the session, the speakers shared case studies and participated in discussions on topics such as leveraging AI and other technologies to enhance user convenience and improve workplace efficiency.

The International Exchange Promotion Committee of JCMA, which fosters international collaboration in the MICE industry, will continue to implement exchange programs and discussions with international MICE professionals.
