JCMA Co-Hosted Program at the 5th Yokohama Global MICE Forum

The 5th Yokohama Global MICE Forum was hosted by JCMA member PACIFICO Yokohama (co-hosted by the City of Yokohama and supported by JCMA and others) and held at the PACIFICO Yokohama Conference Center on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. 132 participants attended, of which about 50 were from JCMA members.

JCMA co-sponsored Session 2, “Becoming a Sustainable Business Events Destination” which was moderated by Ms. Kimie Kojima (photo left), Chairperson of the SDGs Committee.
The speakers were Ms. Pat Satkum of the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) (photo center) and Mr. Peter Lee of the Goyang (Korea) Convention & Visitors Bureau (photo right), who shared their experiences in Thailand and Goyang. The participants discussed how sustainable MICE destinations can be realized by learning from the examples of Thailand and Goyang.
